Dr. P is the best🤗 He had completed my root canal about a month ago but I was having a little pain still. In observation of my xrays and teeth history he saw a had a unique style of canal. So he kept a close eye with follow up visits that ended in him having to retreat it and that solved the issue. He is extraordinary and very knowledgeable, with patience and understanding, super chair side manner. Definitely highly recommend and so thankful for him and the wonderful staff🤗

Dr Atassi was amazing! He was knowledgeable, kind and patiently took the time to explain the work that needed to be done and called me twice after the procedure to make sure my infection was improving. I was seen in both the Park Ridge and Mt. Prospect offices and the staff was wonderful at both locations and very compassionate.

Very blessed to be recommended to such a wonderful group of professionals, knowledgeable, dedicated team that made the time for my emergency when I was in pain to take care of me and relief my pain. Very professional and everything was discussed explained and no surprises at the end. I highly recommend this group if you have root canal issues, the reason I came to this location.

Dr. Gilbert’s bedside manner was excellent – very positive, thorough, and professional. My root canal wasn’t even close to as lengthy or bad as I had expected on hearing I would have to have one (this was my first), and I knew I was in good hands based on my general dentist’s strong referral/high praise for the Northwest Dental Specialist practice as well as when I stepped into the office. Highly recommend!

I literally couldn’t wait to post this review about today’s visit to see the BEST Endodontist in the Chicagoland Area!!! The ONE AND ONLY DR. NABEEL ATASSI has done it again! Another root canal that I’ve had WITHOUT PAIN!!! I have probably the LOWEST pain tolerance of all of his patients and he DOES NOT PLAY ABOUT PAIN! I have never endured being uncomfortable under Dr. Atassi’s care. At my big age, I am STILL recovering from childhood trauma surrounding my experiences with dentist. It was painful and I have been terrified. Since transitioning to his new location, I TRACKED HIM DOWN to get the scare-free and thorough care that I deserve. The ONLY way I would ever even consider someone else, is if he moves his practice out the country. Honestly, I would probably even skip a state to be his patient lol because my experiences elsewhere have been painful and scary. Before today, my last procedure by a general dentist included me being told that I can handle the pain and then without numbing me at my request, proceeded to drill in my mouth, causing the pain I feared…and me grabbing her hand out of reflex, and having to refuse further treatment until I was properly numbed. The dentist later apologized for “…assuming that you can take pain. You know your limits and I should’ve listened.” Ya think?! Welp, here it is over a year later before I’ve built myself up to even think about dental work and then it being ONLY considered pending my success at finding Dr. Atassi. I am just so thankful to God that I was able to find him and get the treatment that I needed, because this is exactly how smaller issues become bigger issues out of fear. I surely would’ve kept waiting. And so I’m just thankful that Dr. Atassi understands the importance of pain management and patient care. I’m literally in tears as I write this, but I’m just so thankful! Northwest Dental Specialist care team (Park Ridge location) is so polite, and thorough. They greeted me with smiles and patiently led me through my examination. Their attentiveness is top-tier! From taking my scans to my x-rays correctly, to ensuring my eyes were protected and that I wasn’t drowning in my own slob lol Dr. Atassi and his team are clearly close knit, and I even found myself laughing through my procedure because they’re hilarious! This is the care I wish everyone had access to, and I’m so thankful to God that I do. Ok, sorry for the long review but to someone like me, who has a healthy fear of the dentist at my age, I know I would appreciate an honest review to calm my nerves and take care of my dental health! I truly hope this helps or secures someone’s confidence! God bless!

I almost never write reviews, but I had to for this place. I’ve been here twice over the past two years for root canals after being referred by my dentist, and both experiences were outstanding. Dr. Fitzgerald is truly one of the best doctors I’ve ever been treated by. He is extremely attentive, professional, and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Both procedures were completely painless, which honestly surprised me. If he knows you’re in pain or uncomfortable, he addresses it immediately and makes sure you’re taken care of. Everything was done efficiently and without unnecessary delays. What really stood out was the care after the procedure. I developed some lingering infection concerns afterward and called the office — they got me in within two hours and took care of everything on a Saturday. That level of responsiveness and patient care is rare. I can’t say enough good things about this office, Dr. Fitzgerald, and the staff. Highly recommend for anyone needing dental work. Five stars all the way.

I needed a root canal. I found Northwest dental specialists. Due to the urgent matter the front desk was so accommodating and got me an appointment within 2 days. I was nervous about the procedure, but everyone from the front seat to the provider made me comfortable. Adriana, obtained a panoramic X-ray before beginning. She and Dr. Przybylo goal was to expertly fix my tooth, keeping me comfortable the whole time. I have to say, I barely felt the anesthetic injection, and was told to let them know the second I experienced pain. I will definitely call this office for any future needs.

When I needed a root canal, my dentist recommended Dr Brett Gilbert at Northwest Endodonics. I thought it would be a painful experience but it turned out to be an easy and painless procedure. Dr Gilbert explained everything and answered all my questions. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. Great office staff, too.

These are 2 of the best endodontists that I have ever been to. I have had root canals done by Dr. Fitzgerald and Dr. Attasi. They are both top quality endodontists. Absolutely painless procedure and no problems ever after the root canal was completed. Also, a very professional and well organized staff at this office. I give it a 💯.

From my first inquiry call to going home after root canal therapy i felt respected and reassured. Maura was very helpful on the phone and at the reception desk with her co-worker. Monica, Dr Atassi’s assistant was informative and comforting. Dr Atassi was professional yet also put my fears at ease. They all explained their parts so i understood what would happen. They also explained my part in all the processes. They make a scary first root canal so much better to handle! Thank you All!! 24 hours later, tired but feeling good!

I was having a pan on the lower left side for a long time. Thanks to Dr Atassi professionalism and high skill level my problem was solved! The root canal procedure was painless and very efficient! His technique is impeccable!He explain the procedure and make sure I feel comfortable the whole time! The front desk, girls and the assistant are great! Highly recommend the office!

My experience with Northwest Dental Specialists has been nothing less than exceptional! Dr. Rojas and her team are the best! They were able to get me in quickly and responded to all of my needs, questions and concerns! Dr. Rojas is excellent at listening, truly hearing what you have to say and explaining everything to you in terms, you can understand. She is also very gentle and genuinely concerned with your comfort throughout the procedure and afterwards! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Dr Atashi was reassuring about minimizing my pain. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend him. His assistant, (patty I think was her name) was also great. She talked through things with me and answered my questions. This all helped alleviate my anxiety about the pain and root canal procedure.

I saw Dr Rojas for an extraction and implant placement and I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care I received at this office. Dr Rojas was skilled and professional as were her assistants and the staff at the front desk. This a very well run office and I highly recommend Dr. Rojas and Northwest Dental Specialists for your dental needs.

I saw Dr. Atessi for pretreatment of a root canal. I was referred to this doctor by my regular dentist. After X-rays were reviewed, this doctor stated I did not need a retreatment. He felt the issue was more of a gum problem and referred me back to my regular dentist. While I am not happy that my problem is not resolved, and I am still in a degree of pain, I appreciate the fact that he did not perform a service that was not needed. My 5 star review is for his honesty.

Dr. Atassi and staff were all wonderful. Everything was fully explained to me about my condition and my out of pocket cost. Dr. Atassi was most concerned about addressing the problem that was causing me pain and saving the tooth. He performed a root canal and I had no pain during or after the procedure.
